| The Pensão Bicuar is located in the heart of the old fishing town of Olhão and is a friendly and comfortable hotel in a first class conditon, having gone through a complete renovation in 2004. There are 16 guest rooms all with a private shower and sink and we have kept the original Portuguese charm. All guests have access to kitchen facilities, book exchange and the top terrace on the 4th floor.
The penthouse apartment (35m2) consist of a lounge area, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and a private terrace (10m2) with sea view and it is located on the 3rd floor.
The top terrace also has a boiler room, solar panels and an office. From the terrace you can see the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve with all the small islands, Olhão "Roof Top World" and the Algarvian Mountain Range inland - Pensão Bicuar has one of the highest & best viewpoints in town.
There are also 2 shops on the ground floor of the pensão. Recently we have made separate deeds for the Pensao and the 2 shops. If you are interested in the Pensao only without the shops the asking price is EUR 495.000 but if you are interested in the 2 shops as well as the pensão the asking price is EUR 595.000.
You are minutes walk from the Marina, the market - which is one of the most animated and picturesque of the Algarve - with a fantastic display of seafood and the local farmers fresh produce. The Ria Formosa Nature Reserve with its beautiful lagoons, marshes and beaches makes it a paradise.
